Dacland welcomes new residents to the Villages of Rothwell
Last week, Dacland joined NBN co, Neighbourhood Watch, and Eseo to welcome soon-to-be residents to the Villages of Rothwell in Tarneit at a “meet your neighbours event”.
Dacland hosted the event to encourage future residents who will soon be starting to build their homes in the community to meet each other and start forming connections with the local area. Many of the future residents expressed their excitement to be moving into an up and coming area, with everyday essentials nearby.
“It’s wonderful to see more future residents at the Villages of Rothwell start building their homes. The completion of these homes, will see the completion of the community’s Eastern parcel,” said Dacland Senior Development Manager, Wendy Scroggie.
“We hope this event, and other events in the coming months help neighbours get to know each other and start checking out the fantastic local area, they will soon call home.”
Damon from Nbn co presented important considerations for building and connecting to the NBN, which will be available to the residents from the minute they complete their builds. The presentation offered purchasers insights into the process of building their home and preparing for NBN connection.
Wendy from Neighbourhood Watch discusses community safety and encouraged purchasers to get involved in the initiative. At Dacland, safety in our communities is a priority, that’s why we have partnered with Neighbourhood Watch to help our residents feel safe and supported within the community.
Seth from Eseo spoke to residents about Dacland’s Great Garden Promise and how they can plan their new front gardens. Dacland proudly offers a Great Garden Promise to help residents create lovely streetscapes in their new home.
“The Villages of Rothwell is destined to become a thriving connected community with proposed convenience centres and future schools. Local parks and landscaped pedestrian paths will provide plenty of opportunities for residents to meet and connect. We look forward to seeing residents make this community their own.”
